GroomTown was established in 2007 with the joint mission of providing both reliable grooming services to all types of pets (not only dogs) as well as to maintain a staff of expert groomers who undergo continuous professional development. Greater Boston residents have been entrusting GroomTown with their dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, and rabbits for over a decade. GroomTown features a unique Cat Spa for our feline clients. The development of this facility was born from the recognition that some cats are more comfortable away from dogs. Whether for a full-service grooming or nail treatment, cats can have their own space to be groomed.
The staff at GroomTown includes 4 trained Pet Stylists with the best accreditations in the industry and 2 Assistant Pet Stylists. The personnel include a Certified Master Feline Groomer, CPR- and First Aid-certified pet techs, and an American Kennel Club S.A.F.E Groomer. In addition, all staff members undergo a professional development seminar or continuing education class annually. GroomTown is a proud member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, the Essex Aggie Alumni Association, and the National Cat Groomer Institute of America.
