Conveniently located in North Andover, Massachusetts GroomTown is the Greater Boston Area’s premier pet grooming facility and retailer of specialty pet products. GroomTown was established in 2007 with the joint mission of providing both reliable grooming services to all types of pets (not only dogs) as well as to maintain a staff of expert groomers who undergo continuous professional development. Greater Boston residents have been entrusting GroomTown with their dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, and rabbits for over a decade. As a result of GroomTown’s ambitious and uncompromising mission, customers continue to come back, season after season.
GroomTown features a unique Cat Spa for our feline clients. The development of this facility was born from the recognition that some cats are more comfortable away from dogs. Whether for a full-service grooming or nail treatment, cats can have their own space to be groomed.
The staff at GroomTown includes 4 trained Pet Stylists with the best accreditations in the industry and 2 Assistant Pet Stylists. The personnel include a Certified Master Feline Groomer, CPR- and First Aid-certified pet techs, and an American Kennel Club S.A.F.E Groomer. In addition, all staff members undergo a professional development seminar or continuing education class annually. GroomTown is a proud member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, the Essex Aggie Alumni Association, and the National Cat Groomer Institute of America.
Lisa
Pet Stylist / Owner
Lisa graduated from Essex Agricultural High School majoring in Agribusiness. She received her Certified Master Feline Groomer certification from National Cat Groomers Institute of America and her All Breed Pet Certified Groomer certification from Pedigree Career Institute. She specializes in geriatric and corrective grooming as well as cat grooming. She has a rescue Terrier Mix named Howie. More certifications include Pet Tech CPR and First Aid and AKC S.A.F.E Groomer certified. Lisa sits on the Advisory Board for Essex Technical High School representing the Pet Grooming Industry.
Estefany
Pet Stylist / Manager
Estefany Graduated Essex Agricultural High School majoring in Companion Animals, and started working at GroomTown as a Junior in high school during her Career Educational program. She then graduated from Massachusetts Canine Cosmetology in Newburyport. She enjoys grooming Chihuahuas and Pomeranians and Asian Fusion Grooming. She has a domestic shorthair cat named Pablo. Estefany is Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified and is also bilingual.
Sarah
Pet Stylist
Sarah graduated from Dapper Dawg Grooming School. She has been grooming for 9 years. She enjoys grooming Golden Retrievers and loves Long Legged Terriers. She has an Australian Shepherd named Leo and two cats named Rocket and Duncan. Sarah is Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified.
Brittney
Pet Stylist
Brittney graduated from Essex Agricultural High School majoring in Veterinary Technology and graduated from North Shore Community College with an Associates degree in Applied Sciences of Veterinary Technology. Brittney started at GroomTown as a receptionist then moved up to Pet Stylist Assistant after a short period of time. She trained under Lisa and Estefany for both dog and cat grooming. She has a Rottweiler named Meli and two Domestic Shorthair cats named Maui and Scrat. Brittney enjoys grooming puppies and doing coat coloring. Brittney is Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified.
